KIM Jong-un channels his hardman hero Vladimir Putin as he rides on horseback in a new series of bizarre snaps.
The photos, released by North Korea's official news agency overnight, show the tubby tyrant clambering up a snowy peak on a white stallion.
Kim's trek was said to mark the first snowfall of the season at Mount Paektu - a mountain that's revered in North Korean culture.
A statement released by the state-run KCNA agency described his march as "a great event of weighty importance in the history of the Korean revolution."
In another strange passage, Kim's eyes were described as being "full of noble glitters" as he took in the commanding view.
His gaze was said to fall on other peaks - likened to the "high steep mountains of the revolution he should go over again in high spirits."
And his accompanying cronies were "convinced with overflowing emotion and joy" that Kim will "strike the world with wonder" soon, it read.
