We will be using a plugin, creatively called “WordPress Popular Posts”. And I will go through all the main settings so you can start using the tool asap.

To show most-read posts the plugin needs some stats, so it will take a few days for it to gather some data and start displaying the correct posts as most popular.
The cool thing is that you can use the shortcode to display your popular posts anywhere on your website. Or then just use the popular post widget to insert them into the sidebar.
