ごかせ温泉は、アルカリ性冷鉱泉。トロッとした肌触りで「美人の湯」として人気の温泉です。

天岩戸神社
日本神話(古事記・日本書紀)の中に書かれております天照大御神様のお隠れになられた天岩戸と呼ばれる洞窟を御神体として御祀りしており、天岩戸神話の舞台となった場所でございます。
岩戸川をはさんで西本宮と東本宮が鎮座し、両社とも、天照大御神様を御祭神として御祀りしております。
川上には八百萬の神々がお集まりになり、御相談をされた天安河原がございます。（HPより）

Gokase Onsen is an alkaline mineral spring.It is popular as "hot water for beautiful women" because of its smooth texture.

Ama-no-Iwato Shrine
Ama-no-Iwato Shrine enshrines a cave called Ama-no-Iwato, where Amaterasu, the deity of the sun, hid as described in Japanese mythology (Kojiki and Nihonshoki).
The West and East main shrines are located across the Iwato River, and both shrines enshrine Amaterasu as their deities.
Upstream is Ten'an-gawara, where the eight hundred million gods gathered and consulted with each other. (From the official website)
